Smania’s Italian furniture steals the show at the new mono-brand showroom in Kiev

Italian luxury furniture is appreciated all around the world on account of its quality and design. As such, Smania is constantly expanding its network of sales points and mono-brand stores in order to reach a large audience. The brand recently opened a new mono-brand store in Kiev’s luxury Domosfera shopping centre, thus increasing the availability of Smania’s classic and modern Italian furniture in Ukraine.

This commercial space is situated in a highly dynamic district which is easy to get to and has good links with the city centre. In addition to furniture showrooms, Domosfera also features home décor, accessories and fashion stores.
Smania’s Italian furniture can be perused in the exhibition space, which is managed in partnership with the Dominio Group, a local organisation that has been operating in the furniture industry for over a decade. Their store features bespoke products including – as well as furniture for all rooms except the bathroom – doors, windows, flooring, stairs and wood panelling. The 900m2 space features Italian-style furnishings in a predominantly modern style.

In order to best show off Smania’s range of Italian furniture in both the classic and modern styles, meanwhile, the partners have created a 150m2 showroom designed to provide a comprehensive snapshot of the Smania style, not least the brand’s love of combining traditional and innovative features.
The exhibition space is home to furniture and accessory pieces from the recent Contrast collection by Alessandro La Spada, which registered great success among the Ukrainian public. Also on show are a range of the most sophisticated products from other collections, which come together with the Contrast pieces to create a truly unique space. The chosen finishes and materials are centred around intense blue and emerald green, while myriad shades of beige and white also feature.

Smania’s luxury Italian furniture is the perfect way to create elegant living rooms, chic bedrooms and exclusive office spaces. The display areas at the new store are a celebration of the sophistication of the Smania total look, with every element perfectly complementing the next to create a harmonious collection of smart detailing and classy features.

Smania’s luxury Italian furniture continues global expansion with new openings in China

Smania is increasing its presence in China after earning the appreciation of the local market. With the brand already operating in two areas in China, Smania’s luxury Italian furniture will soon be available in a further two cities, including the capital Beijing.

The Ningbo Acme Casa store is located in the Derlook shopping centre, one of the most prestigious and famous in the city of Ningbo. Opened towards the end of 2015 in the heart of the city, the store boasts a full 700sq m of floor space and displays several furniture pieces by Smania.

A few months later, in March 2016, the Shanghai Magifil store opened in the Red Star Macalline – Ogloria Global Furnishing Exhibition Center, another famous luxury furniture shopping centre in the Shanghai Minhang district. The 350sq m store is home to a number of Smania’s best-known luxury indoor furniture pieces, including the Adriano round table, Pascal 380 padded bed, elegant Harry bar and much more besides.

Staying in Shanghai, shoppers can also find Smania in Oenotria, a shopping centre dedicated to luxury artisanal Italian furniture. Located in the Shanghai Yangpu district, it was opened in December 2016. Many of the pieces from the Contrast collection, which was unveiled at Milan Furniture Fair 2017, can be found here.

In southern China, Smania is present in show flats of Vosivo Casa, a company collaborating with the renowned Hong Kong designer Steve Leung. In Zhuhai city, a prestigious commercial and residential building houses the three Visivo exhibition spaces, where you can admire furniture and furnishing accessories chosen by the architect himself.

On top of these four stores, there are a further three sales points currently in the process of opening. Two are being launched in collaboration with Talmd, the renowned high-end home furnishings company. With the aim of providing its clients with an exclusive style, Talmd also offers a consultancy service around selecting furniture, materials and finishes, designing spaces and home decoration. Talmd will be opening two new stores, one in Beijing and one in Hangzhou, with both set to welcome a number of luxury Smania furniture pieces in both classic and modern styles. The Beijing showroom occupies two floors in a building located in an industrial area spanning nearly 300,000sq m, while the Hangzhou store has its very own building.
Smania furniture located in these stores include the Caesar bed, pieces from the Lock line and a number of models from the new Contrast collection, such as the Iride table.

Imelda has also turned to the unmistakeably Italian quality of Smania for its soon-to-be-opening showroom in Hangzhou, with the new store set to strengthen the brand’s presence in the Chinese city.

The new openings provide Smania with further opportunities to share the beauty of its luxury furniture in both classic and modern styles in some of the most en-vogue stores in China, where customers desire the quality synonymous with Italian manufacturing and appreciate the unique style of Smania and scope for customisation offered by MyMood.

Smania opens a new showroom at Harrods

Smania have this month opened a new showroom at Harrods in London. Their new roomsets, on the Third Floor or the store, sit perfectly amongst a collection of the world’s finest furniture, sourced from across the globe.

Smania will use the 200 square metrespace, to present a curated selection of the finest products, all of which demonstrate the brand’s commitment to deep-rooted quality, and unconventional design.

The eclectic looks created on the floor are designed to inspire customers, and to showcase Smania’s valuable artisan culture. Burnt orange tones have been paired with dark grey upholstery and rich leathers, which come together to create a sophisticated, masculine aesthetic.

The Contrast collection – designed by celebrated product designer, Alessandro La Spada – takes centre stage in the new Harrods space, with the carved wooden Jersey sideboard, the Amal armchairs, the Lock table and Derby sofa all displayed.

The brand, famous for their modern classic designs, will also be showcasing their best-selling Gramercy collection, office furniture with a difference. This range is characterized by precious woods and leather accents, and sits perfectly within in the new Harrods space.

The furniture, lighting and accessories available in the Smania new showroom at Harrods are designed to work as a starting point for discerning design-lovers to imagine their own, unique pieces; customising and creating through the wide range of finishes available across materials including wood, fabrics, leathers, metals and marbles.
